UISG

All ya'll Ed Board types have gone and riled up some shit with your endorsement of Atul (seriously, why?). It is fun to read the comments that UISG peeps write on our coverage, however. And how about the claim that the DI Metro Section has been running hits on VIP? That's a pretty serious charge.

You'd think that people would have noticed reporters assassinating UISG hopefuls.

Hahaha. God knows, UISG reminds me of the Mogamma - this giant interior ministry building in Cairo, which is apparently Kafkaesque in its levels of bureaucracy.

Here's the Mogamma: http://www.nortemagnetico.com/img/cairo_mogamma.jpg

You make mocking your foreign policy wonkishness far too easy.

I HATE BAKSHEESH.

Who cares about it all?

The people who commented on the DI website. Though it's fairly obvious that many of them are UISG people, if not the candidates themselves.

I think large and influential organizations like the DI, UISG, Lecture Committee, UI Dems, UI Antiwar Committee, etc...we all take ourselves a little too seriously sometimes.

i'm not coming at anybody, notice I also included my organization in that charge, sometimes all of us get a little too self-involved. it happens, its all good, but its worth pointing out and not only or solely s**ting on UISG.

Bizarre.

Well, David, we only shit where the toilets are. If the UISG wants a more complementary endorsement, maybe they should try putting forth some praise-worthy candidates.

I didn't know who to vote for until someone told me that Atul caucused for Joe Biden. That's all I needed to hear.

You're welcome, U of I!

(Burying his face in his hands, praying for Kathleens kids to turn out okay)

Seriously. Kathleen.

I'm not going to have kids. But if I did, they could beat up your kids.

Shake your head all you want, but the people I know who caucused for Biden were smart, well-informed, and didn't blindly follow the rest of the crowd. It's too bad Nate's going to raise his kids without those qualities. I'm sure your daughter will be very popular, Nate. I'll drop a dollar in her g-string some night when she's working at the club.
